If you want to study in a good college, then definitely you need to score good GATE score. If you can get IIT or colleges through GATE exam ,then CGPA won't be considered. But, it depends on the institutions where you want to do M.Tech. Some of the institute may consider CGPA. But remember, GATE score is a must and its very important GATE scores r considered for admission in M.Tech. along with the cgpa should be above than minimum requirement But you should hv Good cgpa for your carrer. good ;luck |
