The National Eligibility Test is conducted by University Grant Commission(UGC). To be eligible for the test, you must have completed masters degree program with a minimum of 55% marks. For candidates belonging to Sc/St category, the required percentage of marks is 50%. Since you have not mentioned whether you pursued your bachelors degree or masters degree from the university, I am unable to say whether you are eligible or not but as far as the recognition of your degree is concerned, the university must be recognized by the Distance Education Council. |
