HAI, Yeah,sure you can join in BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications) after completing 12th standard.BCA it is an undergraduate information technology course.In India many colleges offering this BCA course.  Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have 12th standard exam from any stream with english as passing subject from recognized state board or University. Candiates should be secured minimum 45% marks in 12th standard. To join in this BCA course an admission process is based on entrance examinations conducts various Institutes or Universities as per their exams to admit the candidates and some of Institutes provide direct admission in this course.Most of top colleges will conducts entrance examination. The following universities are conducting entrance exams for BCA admission: Indian Institute of Management & Commerce Sikkim Manipal University GITAM University Satya Institute of Media and Management Acharya Institute of Management and Sciences SRM University Mewar University University of Science and Technology,Meghalaya Bansthali university Alagappa university Lovely Professional University Osmania University etc... all the best............. |

You can do BCA from IGNOU Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) Minimum Duration: 3 Years Maximum Duration: 6 Years Course Fee: Rs. 30,000 Minimum Age: No bar Maximum Age: No bar Eligibility: 10+2 or its equivalent. Course Fee: Rs. 5,100/- For Ist Semester(Rs. 100 in addition to Rs. 5,000 as Registration charges) and Rs. 5,000/- Per Semester for Second Semester Onwards( See Common Prospectus for latest update) |

Re: Can I join BCA after completion of 12th? Hi,  BCA stands for Bachelor of Computer Application and after 12th, the candidates are eligible for this course. The duration of this course was 3 years. And after completing BCA course, You will get knowledge about computers and information technology. So, after completion of the BCA course, candidates can opt for MCA or they can even try for job opportunities. So, if you are interested in BCA course, then please do this course and to get admission in BCA course, you have to passed your intermediate examination only then you will get admission in BCA course. Many colleges provide you direct admission in This course But top colleges will conducts its own test and after clear that test you will get admission in BCA course.
