NDA: You need to study Physics and Mathematics in class 12th to be able to join Air Force through this examination 2. CDS: The minimum eligibility for this examination is graduation and to join Air Force Academy you need to have studied Physics and Maths in 12th. All the best. Thank you. |

To Join Air Force you have to choose Mathematics and physics as your Subjects and you have to give an entrance exam Named NDA (National Defence Academy) NDA (National Defence Academy) exam is conducted by UPSC two times in a year Eligibility 1. You have to write the NDA Exam 2. The age should be minimum 16.5 years and maximum 19 years 3. Female candidate is not allowed to do NDA only an unmarried male Indian can do NDA. 4. Candidate's eyesight should be normal 6/6 without the disease color blind and night blind. 5. Minimum height 157cms. Re: Which subjects should I choose in 12th to join Air Force? Hi friend, To join Indian airforce the much needed subjects are: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. So, you have to take Science stream in 12th with PCM as main subjects. After completion of 12th you need to write NDA exam to get into Indhan airforce. NDA is conducted twice a year in all major cities. So, prepare well. All the best |

You should take the following subjects in 10+2 to join Air Force further : 1) Mathematics with 75% marks in 12th 2) Science (Physics + Chemistry) with 75% marks in each subject in 12th 3) English with 75% marks in 12th Good Luck !! After completion of your 12th class, you have to write NDA exam. NDA means National Defense Academy which is conducted twice in a year in the months of March and August. And you have an age in between 16(1/2) to 19 years. |

You must consist Physics and Math subjects in 12th to join Indian air force. NDA have three wings i..e Indian Air Force Indian Army Indian Navy Required Eligibility Criteria for NDA examination is Candidates must have a 12th standard with PCM subjects There is no percentage required for this examination Candidates age should between 16.5 years to 19 years, There is no age relaxation for this examination for any one Candidates should be a citizen of India Only unmarried male candidates are eligible for this examination Selection Procedure Written Examination Medical Test Interview.......................... To Join the Indian Air Force, you need to pass the NDA Exam which is conducted twice every year by the Union Public Service Commission. The NDA Exam is conducted in the months of April and August as NDA-I & NDA-II respectively. The Subjects that you should choose in 12th to join the IAF are : * Physics * Chemistry * Maths And Other Two main subjects of your choice. Always keep in mind that the PCM subjects are mandatory if you want to join the Indian Air Force. This is the information i have to the best of my knowledge regarding your query. Indian Air Force can be joined through cracking NDA(National Defence Academy) entrance exam conducted twice every year to join Indian Army, Navy along with Indian Air Force wing of NDA. The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian Male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental Fitness. NDA stands for National Defence Academy and its examination is conducted by UPSC twice in a year. The examination is held for the recruitment for the following wings : Indian Air Force Indian Army Indian Navy Eligibility Criteria : You must be an Indian. You must be an unmarried male candidate. You must be physically fit. The age limit is 16.5 years to 19 years. You must have qualified the 12th standard examination or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University. Final year candidates and those who are awaiting results may also apply. Selection Process: Written Test - 900 marks (General ability and Mathematics) Interview - (Intelligence and Personality test) Medical Test / Physical Test I am attaching the syllabus file. To join in Indian Air Force you must choose Physics and Mathematics as subjects in 12th standard from a recognized university and there are some of restrictions requires to join in Indian Air Force Indian Air Force is one of the wing of NDA(National Defence Academy). If you interested to join in Indian Air Force first you can crack the NDA Exam which is conducted by UPSC. NDA Wings: Indian Army Indian Navy Indian Air Force Eligibility Criteria: Nationality Candidates should be a citizen of India Educational Qualification Candidates must have a 12th standard with PCM (Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics) subjects from any recognized institution There is no percentage required for this examination Age Limit Candidates age should between 16.5 years to 19 years There is no age relaxation for this examination Gender: Male:Only Unmarried Male candidates are eligible to apply this exam. Female: Female are not eligible for this exam. Eyesight criteria :Eyesight of the candidate must be 6/6. You can join NDA by taking the exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). If you cleared NDA exam then you will get three-year training regimen at the National Defence Academy. |

To join in Indian Air Force you should have completed your 12th with Physics and maths subject. So you can choose Maths and computer science (or) Maths and Biology. All the best. |
