Re: Can I join CDS after passing B.Com 5th semester cds stands for combined defence services , cds is best option for those who could not make it to nda through cds opportunities are in following wings : age limits 1. naval academy - 19-22yrs 2. airforce academy - 19-23yrs 3.military academy - 19-24 yrs 4. officers training academy - 19-25 yrs a citizen of india, subject of nepal and bhutan are also allowed, male and female candiadates both are allowed for the exam as you are in 5th sem you can apply for cds, above all there are some more requirements of weight and height, visit cds recruitment for absolute detail |

Re: Can I join CDS after passing B.Com 5th semester Yes you can apply for CDS exam after passing 5th semester exam. CDS(Combined Defence Academy) exam is conducted for Army recruitment. CDS exams is conducted for officer level post. UPSC conducts CDS entrance exam every year. you can apply for CDS exam after completing graduation and last year of your graduation. Eligibility criteria for CDS exam- You must have graduation or you can also apply in last year of your graduation. You should also have Physics and Maths in 12th. Age should between 21-25 years. CDS Exam is conducted for following Academies : Officers Training Academy Indian Military Academy Naval Academy Air Force Academy CDS exam is officer level exam so question are also asked of officer level. In CDS entrance exam question related to Reasoning,G.K,Maths and English are asked. These types of question are asked in all exams but level of these questions varied according to the post. To clear CDS entrance exam you have to do preparation very well level of questions in this exam is high according to officer level so you have to do hard work. |

The acronym for CDS is Combined Defence Service. CDS exam conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) two times in a year. CDS has four types of wings:- Indian Airforce academy, Indian Naval academy, Indian Military academy, Officers Training Academy. Eligibility criteria:- The candidate should be complete graduation in any stream for Indian Military and Officer Training academy with mathematics and physics in the 12th standard. For Indian Naval academy and Airforce the candidate should be complete Graduation in Engineering from a recognised university. Percentage is not required for this exam. For Indian Navy and Airforce academy candidate must be complete engineering graduation. Male and Female both are eligible for this exam. Candidate should be physically fit. Applicant must be a citizen of India. Age criteria:- The candidates age limits for Indian Military academy are 19 years to 24 years, For Indian Airforce academy are 19 years to 23 years, For Indian Naval academy are 19 years to 22 years, For Officers Training Academy are 19 years to 25 years. Re: Can I join CDS after passing B.Com 5th semester You can join CDS after graduation. Being a final year student, you can attend the test now also. You are eligible to join army only. Upper age limit to join army through CDS is 24 years. CDS comprises of questions on general studies, mathematics, and English language. |
