This Exam is conducted by SSC each year. Re: How to become an Inspector in CBI? I am pursuing Msc 3rd year Hi, Its good to see your interest towards Central Bureau of Investigation. If you want to join CBI then you have to follow this process :- 1. First of all lets have a look towards the eligibility criteria :- 1. You should be a graduate 2. 20-27 years of age 3. 3 years relaxation to those who are from OBC 4. 5 years relaxation for SC and ST category 5. There is no subject bar 6. There is no minimum percentage requirement 7. Unlimited number of attempts a candidate can give. First of all you have to go for SSC CGL exam and fill the form. The you will be called for Tier I :- It is a 200 marks paper having 200 questions and the question will be asked from :- Maths Reasoning English General awareness Then Tier II :- 2 papers of 200 marks each (Paper of English and Maths) All the best.................... |

Re: How to become an Inspector in CBI? I am pursuing Msc 3rd year Its glad to know you have the wish and capability to be a CBI officer. Well, all youneed to 1. Have the minimum required height, chest and weight (as required for a police inspector), 2. You have to qualifythe written test as well. 3. Minimum qualification is Graduate (aditional qualification like computer/technical willbe given advantage).Just serch for the advertisement of the same and apply for it. |

Re: How to become an Inspector in CBI? I am pursuing Msc 3rd year cbi exam is conducted by ssc. for this you should be graduate with 50 % of marks . your age between 21 to 28 year reelection according govt. ruls . you should be good health and height and very presence of mind for this job. thanks |

The exam is held once in a year . The blank application form is published in the Employment Newspaper. The eligibility criteria are as follows : 1] educational Qualification : Degree of any recognised University or equivalent . 2] Age : 20 to 25 years age relaxation in respect of SC/ST , OBC and other categories is as per the goverment rules . Exam Pattern : The exam is held in two phases : Written --- 400 marks Interview ---- 100 marks Since you are doing M.Sc , you can surely apply for this exam on the basis of your graduation . |

So for this you will have to appear in the SSC Combined Graduate level exams. This exam is held in three stages-Tier 1, tier 2 and Interview Questions will be asked from the below sections in this exams: >> General Intelligence and Reasoning >> General Awareness >> English Comprehension >> Quantitative Aptitude |
