Dear friend, Yes , You are applicable for TCS recruitment because TCS does not consider semester marks . Selection process for TCS company- 1)Written Test( Focus on Puzzle Test) 2)Technical Test ( C,C++ ,JAVA ,DS ,OS,DBMS ) 3)Personal Interview ( Focus on communication skill ) For Technical round you should prepare well on C , JAVA ,DS ,DBMS . Re: Am I eligible for TCS after scoring 7.25 CGPA? Any company didn't bothered about the semester wise CGPA.Because they cumulate your SGPA for four years then that CGPA will take into consideration.In that case you are eligible for TCS.Don't worry! |

If you are a CSE or IT graduate student then you may get a post in TATA CONSULTANCY SERVICES (TCS). you should have a minimum of 65% and with out any backlog in any semester. Just go to their site and place your resume there. If they interested they will definitely call you. otherwise there are 80% companies which required minimum 60% All the best...! |

It is not required to have above 60% in every semester, only aggregate should be above 60% to be eligible. You also need to have minimum 60% in 10th and 12th and you should not have more than 2 years of gap between studies at any stage of your academic career. Concentrate on Communication skills and fundamentals of programming languages to enhance your chances of getting placed. All the best. Thank you. |

 First i will like to tell you that if you have scored a minimum of 6.5 CGPA in your Engineering course then it is equivalent to 60%.So you do not have to worry about that. You will only allowed to apply for campus placement/OffCampus Placement if you will be in Fifth semester/You have finally completed your course.Till now you have completed your Sixth semester,so you will not be eligible for jobs in TCS.To apply for jobs in TCS,You will have to complete your Eight(8th) semester. Eligibility required to apply for jobs in TCS

" You have mentioned that you have scored 7.23 cgpa which is nearly 70% marks . For TCS the eligibility criteria to apply for an entry level position in TCS is minimum aggregate marks of 60% or above . This aggregate marks is the aggregate of all subjects in all semesters and not the aggregate of any particular semester . So though you have scored 6.6 sgpa for one of the semesters you need not worry , you surely can apply for the TCS. Though one of your sgpa is 6.6 your aggregate of all subjects in all semesters is 7.3 so you are surely eligible for TCS. Marks in each semesters are not taken in to consideration. They often take care of the aggregate marks. You must be free of backlogs. Not more than 2 year study gap is allowed. |
