Re: How to join Indian Navy after completing B.Tech in ECE? Indian Navy can be joined after B.Tech. ECE through appearing CDS entrance examination. CDS- Combined Defence Service, the entrance exam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year for an entry in to Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officer's Training Academy of CDS. In order to join Indian Navy of CDS, one must be an unmarried Indian male candidate having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Engineering Graduate from a recognised University within the age of 19 to 22 years with good Physical and mental health. Type of entry 1: SSC (short service Commission)Electrical: Candidate having degree of b.tech in electonics stream with a minimum 60% marks in engineering are eligible to apply for SSC . SSC scheme is a short service commission and it is totally applicable for male candidate. Age limit:19-25 years Type entry 2:SSC (Submarine): candidate having degree of B.tech in ECE stream with 60% marks are eligible for SSC exam. age limit:19-25 years so best of luck.... |

Hi You have to appeare for the CDS exam conducted by the UPSC Exam details as follows: (i) Age limits : 21-30 years (ii) Educational Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree of a recognised university with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physcs, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Enginerring or an equivalent qualification.
