Jawaharlal Nehru was a great leader of India. He was the father of Indira-Gandhi. He was the maternal Grandfather of Rajeev Gandhi. We can consider him as architecture of a sovereign, socialist secular and democratic public. There is detailed information about him given below:- Birth: - Mr. Jawaharlal Nehru was born in Allahabad on 14/November/1889.He was the eldest with two sisters. Education:- He started his Institutional education from Harrow School in 1905 in England after that he joined city law school. After finishing schooling. He completed his college education of Law from trinity College Cambridge from England. He wrote a book Discovery of India. Family:- His mother name was Swaruprani thussu and his father name was Motilal Nehru. He was also a rich and popular barrister of India. Jawaharlal has two sisters elder one was vijayalakshmi later on she became the first female president of United Nations general Assembly. His younger sister was Krishna Hutheesing.She wrote several books on his brother. Award: - He got Bharat ratna award in 1995 that is a India’s highest gallantry award. Death: - Mr. Jawaharlal Nehru died on 27 may 1964 in New Delhi. |

He was very fond of children and popularly called as "Chacha Neheru". Children's day on 14th November every year is marked as his birth day.
