Sir,
some B.Tech student has a high GATE
score like 98 or 99 percentile in GATE , but he got 60% in final year but with second attempt... he/she eligible for M.Tech
admissions to IITs or IISC

dear friend,

with 98 percentile you have no chance for IISC and top IITs but you have chance in new IITs.

for admission in M-TECH it is not mandatory to score 80% above.

you have to score just 60% then you are eligible for any institute.

If some B.Tech student has a high GATE score like 98 or 99 percentile in GATE , but he hasn't the average of 60% ( CGPA below 6.75 ) in B.Tech , is he/she eligible for M.Tech admissions to IITs or IISC ? Please give me the answer.
