One thing I want to tell you is that the minimum academic qualification that is required for the candidates to apply for Bank jobs is changed to Graduation from 10+2. So, one should have completed Graduation in order to be eligible to apply for Bank jobs. So, I suggest your daughter to join Graduation in the stream in which she is interested and where her strengths are being fully utilized. Soon after the completion of her Graduation, she can apply for various entry level positions in Banks like -Clerical Positions -Probationary Officers The selection procedure for both the positions will be Written Exam Interview In addition to the syllabus, the written exam pattern will also be same for the recruitment of both positions. The only difference is depth of questions. It will take time for the candidates to solve PO questions than Clerical positions. So tell her to prepare for PO Exam so that she can easily crack Clerk Exam. She can opt for any of the following courses at Graduation like B.Sc BCA B.Com B.Com Computers etc. Let her carry out preparation for Bank Exams from the 2nd year of Graduation so that she will easily get the job. Wish her all the best. |

For bank job , your have to passed any graduate in from a recognized institute also you have to 60 % aggregate. following are the courses .. B.Com, BBA, B.SC , B.CA . and for higher post you have to passed M.Com, MBA , M.SC ..etc. all the best... |

My dear friend I think there is no chance to get bank job at the age of 29 years.Because the following are the age limits 1.Age limit is 21-28 years for general category and the relaxation period for sc/st is 5 years and 3 years for OBC candidates So you can choose now as per your cast all the best |

If you wants to join at the officer level she will need to complete her graduation. you can pursue any area during graduation. But make sure it is from a recognized institute. Also you should have at least 60% marks in aggregate. Some banks do ask for 55% too.  THANKS |

Re: Course after 12th standard for a job in Banking sector? if you want a govt bank job for her than she need to clear entrance examination for same. 1.Eligibility for apply in the bank entrance examination A.graduation from recognized university with atleast 50%to 60% marks. if she had atleast 60% marks in 12th than also she can appear for bank examination. B.age-between 21 to 28. 2.govt time to time publish their vacancy in employment newspaper (comes weekly)and other newspapers. Read them regularly. 3.question paper consist of questions related to Quantitative aptitude English reasoning General awareness and computer EACH TOPIC COVER AT LEAST 50 QUESTIONS. 4. DURATION OF EXAMINATION It is around 90min to 2.5 hours It all depend on the banks some bank paper are of 90min only whereas some banks paper examination are of 2.5 hours. 5. some times self preparation is difficult so,she can take coaching for exams. Best coaching for examination. Basically, one can pursue bachelors in any stream or any subject & apply for the test of the recruitment exams. Some courses which one can take up are in attachment. Kindly go through course, fee structure & websites to get more details about them. One needs have to good aptitude skills & knowledge for clearing the exams. |
