Re: How much should be the percentage in B.Tech for PSU entrance exam?

Selection of candidates to PSU is done on the basis of GATE score, GD, and interview. Applicant should have specific cut off marks in B.Tech to apply. In case of BPCL, HPCL, etc the required percentage of marks is 60. Cut off marks for GAIL and IOCL is 65%. For DMRC, the percentage of marks required is 70.

Re: How much should be the percentage in B.Tech for PSU entrance exam?

Dear friend,
In college where on campus placement takes place. To recruit students in government college PSU comapny have following creteria:

*Your's pointer should be above 8.5 pointer for general candidate.

*For SC/ST candiadate 6 pointer is the minimum creteria.

*They also check your Gate score.

While if you are going for PSU exams then your minimum btech percentage should be 60%.For SC/ST candiadate theie is relaxtion for them upto 5% in their btech degree marks

You must have 60% mark in your b.tech degree.

5% is relaxable to scheduled caste / scheduled tribe candidate that is 55% is minimum eligibility for sc/st candidate
