Re: How to become a prime minister of India? Eligibility Criteria to become Prime Minister of India Be a citizen of India. Be a member of either the Lok Sabha or the Rajya Sabha. Complete 25 years of age if he is a member of the Lok Sabha or 30 years if he is a member of the Rajya Sabha. |

To Become The Prime minister of India  .That really a nice ambition you have.But to make that true you need to work a lot and lot. First thing you need to do is to join any ruling party like congress and then do many many social service whole heartedly. Not like the politicians who does at the election time. Dr.Manmohan singh is not a normal person who got elected twice as PM. He was a finance minister,he was a RBI governer, and lead the nation in great way by his economical strategies and plans. He doesnt talk much but this person he always thinks in his mind and do things. Like the quote says: Quote:
So talk less and do the work more in the social society where you can get a good name. Then automatically the people of india will rectify you as a good leader and then you may a have chance of becoming the person you wanted to be. All the best for your future endeavor's. Eligibility to become Prime Minister of India are: From Article 84 from the constitution of India gives you the principal qualification for Member of Parliament. And From Article 84 from the constitution of India gives the qualification of Minister in Union Council of Minister. For Prime minister you must be a Citizen of India, Should be a member of Lok Sabha or Rajya Sabha. If some is not a member of Lok Sabha or Rajaya Sabha, then he must become first member of one of them before getting eligible for Prime minster of India. For Lok Sabha he must be above 25 years of age. And In case of Rajya Sabha you must be above 30 years of age. A person will not be eligible for election as PM of India if he holds any office of profit in GoI i.e Government of India. Regards Deepak Kumar |
