Re: How to join Indian Army after passing B.E computer science Hi friend........... After completing B.E computers you can join the Indian Army. To join this you can apply for the CDS exam. CDS stands for Combined Defence Service. This exam conducted by UPSC two times in a year. CDS-I CDS-II Eligibility of CDS exam: The candidate should be complete the Graduation from recognized University. No percentage required for this exam. Final Year appearing candidates are also eligible this exam. The candidate age limit should be between 19 to 24 years. No upper age relaxation for other categories. Only unmarried male candidates are eligible for Indian Army. Girls are not eligible for Indian Army. The candidate should be physically fit for this exam. |

Through CDS(Combined Defence Services) examination, you can join Indian Army after completing B.E. Computer Science. UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) conducts CDS examination twice every year as CDS-I and CDS-II in the months of February and September. CDS examination is conducted for these reputed wings mentioned as below:- * Indian Naval Academy. * Indian Air Force Academy. * Indian Military/Army Academy. * Officer's Training Academy. The selection procedure for the CDS examination is mentioned as below:- * written examination. * SSB interview. * Medical examination. The Combined Defense Services Examination is conducted every year by the Union Public Service Commission twice in the months of February and September. Re: How to join Indian Army after passing B.E computer science After completion of B.E. in Computer Science, you can join Indian Army through cracking CDS(Combined Defence Service) entrance exam, conducted by UPSC twice every year to join Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officer's Training Academy. The eligible candidate aspiring for Indian Army(IMA) of CDS, must be an Indian unmarried Male having either appear for the final Graduation degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 19 to 24 years with good Physical and Mental Fitness. Re: How to join Indian Army after passing B.E computer science Dear Friend  Yes ,you have two opportunities through which you can join the Indian army after completion of bachelor of computer science engineering. First one is the CDS that is Combined defense services examinations .This examination is conducted twice every year by the Union Public service commission. It gives you opportunities to join the different academies of defense like : 1.Indian military academy 2.Indian Naval academy 3.Officer's Training academy 4.Air force academy. The educational qualification required for CDS exam is bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognized university.Final year candidates can also apply for it. Mathematics at 10+2 level is compulsory for AFA and degree in engineering /technology is necessary for the INA. The age limitations are as follows: IMA:19-24 years INA:19-22 years OTA:19-25 years AFA :19-22 years. Note: Both male and female candidates can apply for the exam. >>You should be physically fit.
