Re: How can I get a government job after doing B.A Hons There are many Government jobs available for a Graduate and you can apply for them as you are a Graduate. You can apply for following Government jobs: -UPSC Civil Services Exam -Bank PO Examination -Bank Clerical Examinatio -SSC Graduate Level Examination -Railway Recruitment Board Exams -CDS Exam for joining Indian Army -If you do B.Ed then you can apply for TET for Government teacher job. -If you complete M.A then you can apply for NET for Government lecturer job. There are many options for you if you want a government jobs. But nowadays getting a government job is not so easy and you have to be very well prepared for the competition. So if you want to succeed then be prepared for the competition ahead. Without preparation you can't get a government job. |

Re: How can I get a government job after doing B.A Hons Dear Friend Yes ,bachelor's degree in arts is valid for the government job but just with B.A as academic qualification ,you cannot get any government job. For getting any government job you will have to clear an Entrance exam. Here I am giving you the list of entrance exams for which you can apply with B.A as educational qualification: 1.Some of the UPSC exams are :" Civil services examinations: >>The age limit is 21-30 years for the general candidate and three years age relaxation to obc and five years to sc/st respectively. Combined defense services : >>You can apply for the 1.Indian Military academy :19-24 age limit 2.Officer's Training academy:19-25 years .Central Armed Police force >>Age limit is 20-25 years and age relaxation applicable for the obc and sc/st respectively. 2.If you are interested in banking jobs then you are eligible for the : >>IBPS clerk and probationary officer post >>SBI clerk and probationary officer exam 3.Staff selection commission combined graduate level exam. >>Age limit:18-27 years. 4.For the lower posts in Indian railways. So you can crack any of the above mentioned exam to get government job. How can I get a government job after doing B.A Hons i have done B.A(hons) it is valid for govt job next degree at any university |
