The Qualification required to became a Bank Manager: Educational details: The candidates should be a graduate in any discipline from a recognize university, The final year candidates can also apply for the exam. The age limit : The age limit is 21 - 30 yrs, There is a age relaxation for reserved candidates. The candidates have to appear bank Entrance exam which is conducted by respective bank , Like SBI , IBPS which is a merged banking Institution which conduts Bank banks.. Candidate should have good communication skills. And candidate should be citizen of India. Candidate should good english language skills.

There is no direct bank manager post but still you can get a respectable post in banks after Graduation and after gaining some good experience you can get promoted to manager post. If you have Graduation then you can apply for Bank Po examination which is conducted in Indian by IBPS and SBI for various Indian government banks. If you clear this exam then you will be appointed as probationary officer in the bank. After completion of your probation period you will be appointed as assistant manager in the bank. You will work at this post for some years and if you perform well then surely you can get manager post. Age limit for Bank PO exams is 21 to 30 years and age is relaxable for reserved category candidates like SC/ST/OBC/PWD/ExServicemen etc. Selection Procedure: -Written Examination -Interview Written exam will have objective type questions. The questions will be related to following subjects. -Quantitative Aptitude -Reasoning Aptitude -English -Computer -General Awareness There will 0.25 negative mark for every single wrong answer. So be careful while attempting. You need to pass in each and every section and also clear the overall cut off marks to get the nod for Interview. Merit is prepared on the basis of marks in written and interview. There are private banks also which recruit bank managers but they ask for MBA degree. For more information visit http://www.ibps.in |

Re: What is the qualification required to become a bank manager? You have completed your B.Tech course and you want to get the job of Bank Manager. It is not at all possible. There is no way for that. Because you are fresher to the banking industry and banking job. Without knowing anything if they offer you the job of Bank Manager, then how will you perform. I am not saying that you can not become Bank Manager. You can. But it will take time. One should have hands on experience in various roles in the Bank and then depending upon his performance he will appointed as Bank Manager. And it should be better for the candidate having Post Graduation degree. So, try to do that after joining in a bank. Entry level positions in various banks are Clerical Positions PO Positions IBPS is conducting common Entrance Exam for the recruitment of above mentioned positions for all the public sector banks. Better to crack PO exam as PO is a higher level designation compared to Clerk. Here is the eligibility to apply for PO posiitons. You should have completed your Engineering course with a minimum of 60% of marks. Age criteria is different for the candidates of different categories which is 21-30 years of age for the candidates of General category. Relaxation in upper age limit upto 3 years for the candidates of OBC category. Relaxation in upper age limit upto 5 years for the candidates of SC or ST category. Selection procedure will involve Written Exam Interview So, have good preparation for the written exam and crack it. Wish you all the best for your fruitful career in banking sector. |

Dear friend for apply Bank manager exam the minimum Education qualification is Master degree in any stream from a recognized University. Age should be between 21 years to 30 years for General category candidates. Age relaxation for OBC category candidates 3 years And SC/ST category candidates 5 years. One can become a manager by cracking P.O.(Probationary Officer) exam generally conducted by SBI and IBPS(Institute of Banking Personal selection). The eligible candidate aspiring for SBI/IBPS P.O. Exam, must be an Indian national having completed Graduation in any stream of education from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate. Some Private banks required percentage of marks criteria in Graduation more then 50 to 60% marks to qualify for their P.O. exam. |

What is the qualification required to become a bank manager? What are the qualifications requried for becoming a bank manager? I have completed B.Tech. I want to no detail for which exams i should prepare i want to know that any negative marks wil be aloted or not . give me total information sir for apearing exam is there any use of refering question papers or not .any qs is repeated from old question papers are not |
