Re: How can a female join Navy after 12th? DEAR FRIEND NDA(National Defence Academy) is conducted two times every year i.e NDA-I, NDA-II. This exam is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission). NDA has three wings: Indian army, Indian airforce, Indian navy.  Educational qualification: 12th standard from a recognised state or central board. Percentage is not required for this exam. For airforce and navy wings you must have PCM subjects in 12th standard. Age criteria: Age limits is 16 1/2 years to 19 years. There is no relaxation for OBC and SC/ST candidates. Nationality: Citizen of india. For more information visit the website: http://www.upsc.gov.in There are three civil services that are comes under NDA and those are as follows: 1.Indian Navy 2.Indian Air Force 3.Indian Military Girls are not eligible for any of the civil service after 12th because according to the UPSC,girls are not eligible for NDA. Eligibility criteria for NDA:- 1.You must be an Indian. 2.Your age should lies between 16.5 to 19 years. 3.Your eye sight should be correct i.e.6/6. 4.You must be physically fit. 5.Girls are not eligible for it. 6.Only an unmarried males are eligible for it. Girls can only apply after completion of graduation.They can complete their graduation with any of the field to apply for civil services.After graduation,girls have to give the CDS entrance exam. |

Re: How can a female join Navy after 12th? It is not possible to join Navy immediately after 12th. Female graduates can join OTA by qualifying CDS exam. But they are not allowed to join navy through CDS also. Short Service Commission is a gateway for them to join defense. Eligibility criteria varies with job designation. Detailed information can be collected from the website of Indian Navy. |

Law Cadre You can apply as Law Cadre for which the basic eligibility criteria is given below: Age: 22 – 27 Yrs Qualifications: A Degree in Law Minimum with 55% . Logistics Cadre: You can also apply for Logistics Cadre for which the eligibility criteria is given below: Age: 19 ½ – 25 Yrs Qualifications: BA (Economics) or B.Com or B.Sc. (IT) 60% Good Luck And Jai Hind!!! |
