Re: Is Vinayaka Mission University approved by UGC? Dear Friend, The Vinayaka Missions University has got recognition from the University Grants Commission under section 3 of the UGC Act , 1956. So , the University is recognized by the UGC [University Grants Commission]. The University has also got approval from the DEC [Distance Education Council] to offer Distance Learning Courses.
