Dear user

People with graduation degree are eligible for any bank exam.
There is no minimum marks criteria.
Check below for more eligiblity.

10+2 from recognised School.
Graduation in any discipline from recognised institution/university & there is no minimum marks criteria.

Age limit-20-30 years.
There is upper age relaxation for reserved categories.

Dear Friend,

The Bank PO Exams are conducted by the following :


* State Bank Of India

* Institute Of Banking Personnel Selection

The Bank PO Examination is conducted every year by these two for the selection of candidates for the post of Probationary officers in the State Bank of India and the 19 other public Sector banks that come under the Institute of Banking Personnel selection.

The Pattern of The Bank PO Exam conducted by SBI and IBPS :




The Selection Procedure of Bank PO Exam is :

1) Written Examination

2) Computer Proficiency Test

3) Personal Interview

4) Medical Test

The Qualifications Required for Bank PO Exam are :


** The candidate must have completed Graduation in any stream from any recognized college/university.

** There is no percentage bar for the same.

** The candidate should not have any active pending backlog.

** Candidates in the final year of Graduation cannot apply.

** Both Male and Female candidates are allowed to appear for the exam.

** The age limit [For SBI PO Exam] :


>> For General Candidates : 21-30 years

>> For OBC Candidates : 21-33 years

>> For SC/ST Candidates : 21-35 years

** The Age Limit [For IBPS PO Exam] :

>> For General Candidates : 20-28 years

>> For OBC Candidates : 20-31 years

>> For SC/ST Candidates : 20-33 years

So , if you fulfill the above mentioned qualifications , then you can give the bank PO Exam either conducted by the SBI or by the IBPS.

Number of Attempts for Bank PO Exam :


a) 4 for General Category Candidates.

b) 7 for OBC Category candidates.

c) No limit for SC/ST Category candidates.

Numerical Reasoning : 20 Questions - 30 Min
Figurative Questions : 20 Questions - 10 Min
Logical Reasoning : 25 Questions - 10Min
Data Interpretation : 10 Questions
Data Sufficiency : 15 Questions

Age relaxation for PO Exam -

For SC/ST Category candidate 5 year
For OBC Category candidate 3 year
For PWD Category candidate 10 year.

## The minimum educational qualification required to apply for BANK PO(SBI and IBPS) examinations is graduation in any discipline from recognised institution/university & there is no marks percentage critiria
## Age limit to apply for BANK PO exams is
~>21-30 years for GENERAL category candidates
~>21-33 years for OBC candidates
~>21-35 years for SC/ST category candidates
~>21-40 years for PH candidates
## BANK PO written exams consists of 5 sections
(1)Quantitative aptitude
(2)Reasoning ability
(3)English language
(4)General awareness with special reference to banking industry
(5)Computer knowledge
& there is negative marking of 0.25 mark for each wrong answer

Graduation is the basic educational qualification for bank P.O. The qualification must be obtained in any of the streams. No specific percentage of marks is required. Mere pass in degree is enough. Age of the applicant must be less than 30 years. Concession of 3 year and 5 year is given for OBC and SC/ST candidates respectively.
