IAS stands for Indian Administrative Service If you are interested in IAS First you can crack the Civil examination which is conducted by Union Public Service Commission Eligibility Criteria: Nationality: You must be citizen of India. Education Qualification: You must have a bachelor of Degree in any stream from a recognized university. Age limit: Your age should between 21 to 30 years, age relaxation as under For SC/ST 5 years relaxation For OBC 3 years relaxation Maximum attempts for Civil Examination: 4 Attempts for General Candidates. 7 Attempts for OBC Candidates. No maximum limit for SC/ST Candidates. Selection Procedure: This selection process based on Three phases:  1.Preliminary Exam **General Studies **Civil Services Aptitude Test 2.Mains Exam **General Studies **Two optional subject chose by you Optional subjects:  3.Interview Salary of IAS Officers : IAS jobs are the most sought after jobs in India and are the top class jobs among Indian Civil Services. Since implementation of 6th Pay Commission, the salary structure of IAS officers has really improved and now they are now getting handsome salary along with many other benefits Junior Scale : Pay Band: Rs 15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs 5400 Senior Time scale: After few years experience, IAS are promoted to this scale, which is Rs.15600-39100 with 6600 as grade pay. Re: Can we write IAS exam after 2nd PUC from Bangalore University No, it is not possible to apply for IAS after completing PUC. Graduation is the minimum qualification required to join IAS. Selection process is made through prelims exam, mains exam, and personnel interview. Those who qualify prelims exam are only allowed to attempt mains exam. Applications for attending these exams can be submitted through the website of UPSC. Your age must be between 21 and 30 years, in order to apply. |
