Hai friend CDS stands for the Combined Defence Services.The CDS exam will be conducted by the union public service comission every year for the candidates who are interested in the Defence Services and who had completed their graduation degree from a recognised university can apply for the CDS exam. The physical criteria for CDS exam is listed below :-  **Age Limit :- -->Indian Military Academy: 19-24 years. -->Indian Airforce Academy: 19 - 23 years. -->Inadian Naval Academy: 19-22 years. -->Officers training academy: 19-25 years **Educational Qualification :- You must have to complete the Bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognised university to be eligible to appear for the CDS exam. **Selection Procedure :- You will be selected into the Defence services only after qualifying in these three levels are :- -->Written Test -->Medical Test -->Personal Interview Thank You |

Hi, Physical standard for CDS exam;- candidate age should be 16.5 to 19 years candidate should be physically fit candidate's eye sight should be 6/6 the joints and the boons of the candidate should be physically fit. Candidate should be mentally sound and healthy. The weight of the candidate should be according to his/ her hight the height of the candidate should be 157cm or above. In the case of the male candidate and female candidate the hight and weight are differ from each other for more information candidate can also refer to the notification which is issued by the upsc. |

Re: What is the physical criteria for CDS? Combined Defence Service. CDS exam conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) two times in a year. Common eligibility: eyesight 6/6 and weight according to heaight. The person should sound healthy. Eligibility for IMA:- The candidate should be complete bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognised university. The age limits are 19 years to 24 years. No age relaxation. Eligibility for NA:- The candidate should be complete Bachelor's degree in engineering from a recognised university. Percentage is not required. The age limits are 19 years to 22 years. No relaxation in age. Eligibility for IAF:- Candidate should have to complete bachelor's degree in Engineering from any recognised university. Applicant's age should be in between 19 years to 23 years. No upper age relaxation. Eligibility for OTA The applicant should be complete degree in any stream from a recognised university. The applicant's age should be in between 19 years to 25 years. There is no upper age relaxation. Selection process: Written exam, Personal interview, Medical test. CDS stands for Combined Defence Service. CDS exam conducted by the UPSC twice in a year. CDS has four wings in it. Indian Airforce, Indian Naval academy, Indian Military academy and Officers Training Academy. Eligibility criteria:- The candidates should be complete Bachelor's degree in engineering for Indian Airforce and Naval academy. The candidate should be complete graduation in any stream for Indian Military academy and Officers Training Academy. Your graduation must be complete from a recognized university. You must be a citizen of India. Percentage is not needed to appear this examination. Male and Female both are eligible for this exam. You must be physically fit. Age criteria:- The age limits for Indian Naval academy are 19 years to 22 years. The age limits for Indian Airforce academy are 19 years to 23 years, The age limits for Indian Military academy are 19 years to 24 years, The age limits for Officers Training Academy(OTA) are 19 years to 25 years. Eligibilty Criteria for CDS: For Indian Military Academy/officer's Training Academy: Candiadte must be completed bachelor degree from a recognized university. for Naval Academy: Candidate must be completed B.Sc degree with physics & mathematics/ Bachelor of Engineering. For Air Force Academy: Candiadte must be completed degree from a recgonized university with physics and mathematics at 10+2 level/ Bachelor of Engineering. Age Limit: Indian Military Academy: 19-24 years. Air force Academy: 19 - 23 years. Naval Academy: 19-22 years. Officers training academy: 19-25 years. Dear Friend  CDS means Combined defense services .The physical criteria for the CDS examinations is as below :   Physical examination is the last stages of test for the recruitment and it comes under the service selection board which consists of different types of tests like : >>Screening test >>Word association test >>Situation reaction test >>Verbal,Non verbal ,Intelligence test >>Group planning and testing >>Personal interview. Vision Standards :: You should be able to read 6/6 in a distant vision chart with each eye with or without glasses . You should be able to recognise red and green colors . Physical Criteria :: Minimum Acceptable height is 157.5 cms with correlated weight and Chest should be well developed.
