Re: Am I eligible for a job in multinational companies?

Dear Friend

As you mentioned that right now you are in second year of engineering ,so there is long way to get placed in multinational companies .

Generally ,the MNCs recruit candidates when they are in final year of engineering .Some companies also recruit prefinal year candidates but you are now in second year so not eligible for the recruitment process.

Lots of MNCs require throughout 65% in the bachelor's degree and 60% in the 10th and 10+2 .Its good that you have good % of marks in tenth and twelveth and now you should aim to maintain good percentage of marks in the respective years of B.etch

Try to develop :

>>Good communication skills

>>General aptitude

>>Knowledge in your stream it will help you getting placed in MNCs.

There are three steps :

>>Screening test : Aptitude papers

>>Group discussion

>>Personal interview

If you are interested in working in Public sector undertakings like NTPC,BHEL,SAIL,GAIL etc you may also aim to secure better ranks in GATE exam as these PSUs shortlist candidates on the basis of GATE scorecard.

Hope the information helps you as much as you expect .For any other assistance please do not forget to leave a message here .We will get back to you as soon as possible.

Enjoy your life and all the best for your career.

Hello Friend,

As you are the student of 2nd year of BTec. first you should complete your

degree course. So for as the concern of the criteria to get job in multinational

then they do campus visit for the placements in their companies. They see the

scoring as well as other skills required for their companies. So I suggest you to

work hard and try to maximum scoring to get job in good multinationals.

Hi,

The Eligibility conditions for job in Multi National Companies are as follows-

Generally it depends upon the kind of companies and the post.

You must need minimum 60% in the 10th, 12th and also in the graduation.

Some companies generally ask for 65%.

Generally there is no age limit for this exam.

There should not be any type of backlog which is uncleared yet.

You should not have a gap of more than a two years in any state of educational life.

Good luck..........................

Re: Am I eligible for a job in multinational companies?

You are pursuing just 1st year of your Engineering or B.Tech course.

So, you will be having plenty of time in order to apply for the jobs. Make most out of this time towards the preparation in getting right job for you.

The percentage of marks that you scored in your 10th and 12th are excellent.

But repeat the same academic performance even in your Graduation also. Then only you are eligible to apply for the job opportunities.

In present situation, all the MNCs are recruiting the candidates who have scored minimum 60% in all their academic levels.

From my side, I suggest you to score more than 70% of marks in your B.Tech course, then you will be eligible to apply for any company.

Generally MNCs will conduct the following rounds to recruit the candidates
Written Exam
JAM
Group Discussion
Technical Interview
HR Interview

You should be strong enough in your subject knowledge and communication skills to grab the job opportunities.

My suggestion for you would be to get the job in college itself through campus placements otherwise you have to struggle a lot in outside market to get the job.

Have enough stuff in your resume to get the job
-by providing real time projects
-including the things like paper presentations, seminars etc.

In addition to the subject knowledge, update your knowledge on various real time issues like
-how the industry is going on
-what is the performance of top giants in the industry

Identify the areas where you will be having great career scope if you join and prepare some action plan to get job in those companies.

Then you will be having great career.

Wish you all the best.
