There is only one acknowledged exam for doing m.tech is GATE EXAM which make you to enter into top universities like IIT's ,NIT,DELHI UNVERSITY,JNTU,OSMANIA UNIVERSITY and many more top other university .. gate marks are applicable for all colleges and it is valid for 2 years .. some private colleges conduct their own exams too but most of university consider gate exam..marks But yes you can take admission into M.TECH without writing gate that is in some private colleges with high donation but if you write GATE and with good rank you can get admission into good university and even with getting scholarship while studying so choice is yours!!!!!!! all the best.......... |

Dear friend, I think there is only one exam to get admission into MTech i.e., GATE.GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering.GATE is conducted by every year in February by any one the following IIT'S ----Indian Institute of Science Bangalore ---- Indian Institute of Technology Bombay ---- Indian Institute of Technology Delhi ---- Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati ---- Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur ---- Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur ---- Indian Institute of Technology Madras ---- Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee This year GATE2014 is conducted by Indian institute of Kharagpur.GATE exam is completely online. Eligibility criterion for GATE:--- ------------------------------------ 1.Bachelor degree in engineering/architecture/pharmacy/technology 2.Bachelor's degree in Science 3.Master’s degree in any branch of Science/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Applications or equivalent 4.Integrated Master’s degree programs or Dual Degree programs in Engineering/ Technology (Five year programme) 5.BE/BA/BSC 6.Students in the final year of their BTech So if you comes under any of the above category you can write GATE exam.Here I am mentioning important date of GATE 2014 1.Last date for online application submission is 3rd october,2013 2.Last date for submitting print outs of application form in zonal offices is 10th october,2013 3.Exam is every saturday's and sunday's between 1st febraury and 2nd march of 2014 So if you do well in the GATE exam definitely you will get admission into any of the famous colleges into MTech programme ----------------------------------------------------- GOOD LUCK ------------------------------ |
