You can choose any of the stream, any of the subject combinations to appear in NDA examination.

Educational qualification required to be eligible for this exam is to be 10+2 passout with any of the stream.

Hi

For doing NDA exam you can do any stream which you feel its easier to

crack. Because NDA requires just a pass in 12th std. I can suggest you

commerce group which will be easier than science group to crack. Any group

you take maths must be there as it is needed for NDA exam.

For Indian army there's no particular stream as eligibility criteria.

Educational qualification is 10+2 level system.

But for facing NDA the science stream is the best as the syllabus of the NDA exam includes
1. Mathematics
2. English
3. General Aptitude.

So science stream is a good option to choose for the NDA examination.

Though it doesn't matter which branch u take up, as students from all branches are elligible still you should take up science(non-med), i.e. PCM.. as it will make easier for u to clear NDA exam, as science stream people are good in solving objective type questions... Also I have myself seen none of the commerce or arts students during my SSB interview period at Allahabad(held after clearing NDA)
