To join good Engineering Colleges in India like IIT(Indian Institute of Technology), one has to crack its entrance Exam, IIT JEE and for other reputed Engineering Colleges like NIT(National Institute of Technology), one has to crack entrance exam like AIEEE. IIT JEE - Indian Institute of Technology Joint Entrance Exam conducted by IIT - The eligible candidate must be an Indian Citizen having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with 60% marks in aggregate within the age of 17 to 25 years, is eligible to apply for IIT JEE. AIEEE - All India Engineering Entrance Examination conducted by CBSE - The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with 50% marks in aggregate within the age of 17 to 25 years, is eligible to apply for AIEEE. |

Re: Percentage of marks required to join in good engineering college? hello friend, To join in btech course in any college above 50% marks in 12th is enough. but if you want To join in. best colleges like iits,nits above 90% is required in 12th and entrance exams .so try Try To get good marks and ranks. ok. all the best. |

Re: Percentage of marks required to join in good engineering college? To join for engineering courses, you need to first complete 12th class. A minimum mark of 50% is required to apply for B.E/B.Tech courses. But, if you want to get in to reputed and good institutions like IIT, NIT etc for the same you need to get distinction marks. Admission for engineering courses will be on the basis of common entrance examination. If you get a good score in entrance examination you can apply for B.E /B.Tech courses accordingly. |
