What are the differences between AIPMT and NEET on the basis of question pattern? Is NEET tough than AIPMT?

Re: What is the difference between NEET and AIPMT?

NEET is an eligibility cum entrance exam to take up admission for MBBS/BDS courses. Whereas, APIMT was conducted by CBSE for selection of candidates for admission to 15% seats under all India quota. And the NEET exam was now replaced by AIPMT exams.

Basic difference in both the exam are:-All India Pre-Medical Test, entrance examination is being conducted exclusively for the 15% merit positions for the Medical/Dental Colleges of India. In aipmt you have 2 exams i.e Preliminary exams and the Mains exam and you need to score more than 75% in both exams. Whereas the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) allows class XII students to sit in a single entrance examination to get admission to almost all medical colleges in India, including private medical colleges, from 2011 academic year.

all the best.................

NEET is a single eligibility cum entrance examination namely ‘National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for admission to MBBS/BDS courses’ in each academic year.
AIPMT was conducted by CBSE for selection of candidates for admission to 15% seats under All India Quota.
With the introduction of NEET, the said examination will replace AIPMT and other similar Under Graduate level Medical Entrance Examinations.
