yes, you are eligible if you have done your M.sc from recognized university and have

at least 55% in your post graduation.

-------------------------------------------------------NET stands for National Eligibility Test. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

UGC conduct the examination twice in a year.

This examination is conducted for the Junior Research Fellowship and Lecturer ship.

------------------------------------------------------Minimum qualification for NET entrance exam-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Masters in subject from recognized university with at least 55% marks.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------Age limit------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

For Junior Research Fellowship - age of the candidate should not be more then 28 years.

For Lecturer ship - There is no age limit to apply for Lecturer ship.

If you want to apply for National Eligibility Test in Chemistry,you will have to appear for the test conducted jointly by the University Grant Commission and Council of Scientific and Industrial Research-CSIR.
The test will comprise of a single paper divided into three parts, in which Part B and Part C will be based on Chemical Sciences as per the syllabus, whereas, Part A will be based on General Science, Quantitative Reasoning & Analysis and Research Aptitude.
Part B will be multiple choice question and Part C will be of analytical nature.
