Re: How to get registered for Company Secretary? The process of registration will depend on the whether you are a 12th pass or a graduate. If you are a 12th pass then you need to register for the foundation course. If you are a graduate then you can register directly for the executive level. Another deciding factor would be whether you are from a commerce background. The fees too will depend on these factors. So do visit their icsi site for details. |

Hello friend, The application forms of the Company Secretary course are available at the head office of Institute of Company Secretaries of India and all regional councils. The prospectus along with the application form can be obtained by paying Rs.200 for Foundation program and Rs.300 for Executive program, to the regional councils. The prospectus can also be obtained through post. You will have to draw a demand draft of Rs.250 for Foundation Program and Rs.350 for Executive Program, in favour of Institute of Company Secretaries of India, payable at New Delhi. To register for the Foundation Program you must have qualified the +2 level of examination and to register for Executive Program you must be a graduate, in any stream, or have qualified the final examination of any professional course. If you have passed your higher secondary 10+2 examination from a board recognized by the government you are eligible to registered yourself as a student of Company Secretary. There is no minimum pass percentage required to join CS. You need to buy the prospectus cum application form from the institute office in your city.
