Dear aspirant,
In order to get admission in IIM you need to get a very good percentile in the CAT entrance.
It should be 99.99 percentile.

CAT is the toughest management entrance in India.
It needs a expert level knowledge of English, aptitude and mathematics.
At the same time Gk questions will also be there.

So, the complexity of CAT entrance mainly lies in English portion.

It can applied in the month of september of each year.

So, the preparation level should be of that category.
The selection of best study material and your concepts will play a great role in deciding your rank in this exam.

The selection of best books will play a great role in deciding your rank.
If you have a good collection of books then your preparation will be better.

Your rank will decide your position in teh IIM because IIM's are the best B-Schools in India.

In order to get admission in the Indian Institutes of Management, one must fulfill the following criterias:

Must have completed Bachelors Degree program with a minimum of 50% marks, which is relaxed upto 5% for candidates belonging to SC/St category.
Qualify Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by Indian Institute of Management.

After qualifying the aforementioned stages, candidates are selected for next stage of selection procedure which includes:

Written Ability Test
Group Discussions
Personal Interviews

After successfully qualifying all the stages, candidates on the basis of their performance are selected for admission in the Indian Institutes of Management.
