Re: Can I join in Navy in National Defence Academy after completing 12th with 60% marks Yes, you can join Indian Navy through NDA after 12th. There is no percentage criteria for application to NDA. National Defence Academy(NDA) entrance exam conducted by UPSC twice every year to join Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA. To be eligible for Indian Navy of NDA, one must be an unmarried Indian male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental Fitness. The selection is through written exam followed by personal interview along with Physical Fitness and Medical Test. For more information you may log on to http://www.upsc.gov.in |

12th standard is the Basic Qualification to appear in NDA Examination and Final year candidate may also eligible to apply fort this Examination . But , It's difficult to say that your eligible for Navy Academy (or) Not . Because Only Science stream with Physics and Mathematics are eligible to apply for Navy Academy . You have Not Mention your stream in which you have Completed in 12th standard . So, If you Completed 12th science stream than your eligible for Navy Academy . Note :- Commerce as well as Arts Stream candidates are not eligible for Navy Academy Academy . Arts and Commerce stream candidates are only eligible for Army Academy . And age limit is same for all wing . To appear in NDA Examination your age should be 16.5 years to 19 years . No Upper age relaxation for both the sc/st candidates and obc candidates and the student should be Citizen of India . NDA Examination Pattern :- --> Mathematics --> General English You may apply for this Examination in Online Mode by the Visiting the Official website . The Cost of Examination Application form Rs. 50/- You may pay the Examination Application Fees in Following Modes like, Visa / Master / Credit / Debit Card Etc.. Note :- Examination Application form is Free for sc/st candidates . This year NDA Examination was Already Completed. So, I suggest you wait for Next Notification .
