Re: Difference between Novel and Drama?

A NOVEL is a fictitious prose narrative of considerable length and complexity, portraying characters and usually presenting a sequential organization of action and scenes.

But a DRAMA is a composition in prose or verse presenting in dialogue or pantomime a story involving conflict or contrast of character, especially one intended to be acted on the stage.

In another words we can also say that a DRAMA is the art dealing with the writing and production of plays.

There are so many people who are very much interested in writing books,Novel and Drama.

Some of the famouse Drama are as below:--->>

Re: Difference between Novel and Drama?

Hi,
a novel is a fictional piece of prose usually written in a narrative style.

Novels tell stories, which are typically defined as a series of events

described in a sequence. The novel has been a part of human culture for

over a thousand years.

Secondly, novels are meant to be fictional in form and these are often

beloved for their creation of spectacular worlds, empathetic characters, and carefully thought-out arguments.

-the tale of genji is more commonly accepted as the origin of modern

novels. Written by lady murasaki shikibu.

-in recent times j.k. Rowling's harry potter series was a great success..

In other hand, a drama is a script intended to be acted, ie as in a play, or

film, the script will be written for an actor to speak.

-drama is the most dependent of art forms -- director, actors, scene and

costume designers must interpret before the audience does.it is normally

based on historical interest.

-it may be allusion/, aside/, catastrophe /, comedy or may have some other forms.
