For apply IPS officer exam the minimum Education qualification is Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized University. IPS stand for Indian Police Services. Indian Police Services exam is conducted by UPSC under Civil Services exam in every year. Eligibility criteria for IPS exam:- Candidate should be completed Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized University. Age should be between 21 years to 30 years for General category candidates. Age relaxation for OBC category candidates 3 years And SC/ST category candidates 5 years. Candidate should be an Indian citizen. Number of Attempts:- General category candidates - 4 time OBC category Candidates - 7 time SC/ST category candidates - No limit. Physical Standard:-- Height – Male 165 cm and Female -150 cm Chest – Male Minimum 84 cm. Expansion 5 cm. Female Min 79 cm expansion 5 cm. Selection procedure :- - Preliminary entrance exam - Main entrance exam - Interview - Physical and medical test All the best...... |

What is the qualification for IPS jobs? you can not apply for ips exam . for this you should graduate and no percentage required . age limit for general 21 to 30 year and 4 time you appear in this exam . obc 21 to 33 year and 7 time you appear in this exam . sc/st 21 to 35 year and no time bar for them . candidate should be an indian . for more detail just log in www.upsc.in |

You must have completed 21 years to apply. Upper age limit is 30 years. Also, you need to satisfy certain physical standards also. |

Minimum Qualification for IPS officer is as follows: 1) Educational Qualification: You need to have a degree to appear for IPS exam. Final year students can also apply. Your age should be between 21 to 30 years. 2) Physical Requirements: Height - Male 165 cm Female 150 cm Chest - Male Minimum 84 cm. Expansion 5 cm. Female Min 79 cm expansion 5 cm. You will be required to appear for exam conducted by UPSC . Relaxation in age:- SC/ST--- 5 years. OBC--- 3 years. Handicaped-- 10 years. Number of attempts:- General candidates: four attempts.
