NDA Stands National Defence Academy NDA exam is conducted by UPSC twice in a year NDA - I NDA - II NDA has three wings: Indian Air force Indian Navy Indian Army Educational qualification:- 12th standard or any equivalent is the educational qualification for this exam. Percentage is not required for this examination. 12th standard exams appearing students are also eligible for this exam. Age criteria:- The candidate age should not be lessthan 16 1/2 years and should not be morethan 19 years. No upper age relaxation. Nationality:- You must be a citizen of India, Or A subject of bhutan, Or A subject of nepal, Or A tibetian refugee who came over Indian permanently. Gender:- Only unmarried male candidates are eligible i.e girls are totally not eligible for NDA. All the best........... |

Re: Can I join Indian Army if I am from Nepal? You are eligible to join the Indian Army but since your age is 21years you need to have a graduation degree. If you have a graduation degree in any stream you can apply for CDS exam. CDS exam is conducted by the UPSC twice in a year. You also need to fulfill the eligibility criteria to apply for CDS:- The age of the candidates should be between 19-24years. The candidates should have a graduation degree. The candidates should be Indian citizen. The candidates should be physically strong. SELECTION PROCEDURE:- Written Exam =SSB Interview =Medical Test. for detail check http://www.upsc.gov.in Since you have passed 10th level you can also apply for general duty solider in the Indian Army. Here is the physical standard detail and syllabus of the CDS exam,please check.
