HI FRIEND
## Mechanical engineering is the mother branch of engineering
## Being mechanical engineering graduate, you can apply for GRADUATE ENGINEER POST in government sector Core companies like
->ONGC
->IOCL
->NTPC
->HPCL
->GAIL etc and to get this job, you must have atleast 65% of marks in engineering & also you must secure good GATE examination score because these core companies do not conduct the written test but consider the GATE exam score to shortlist the candidates
## You can apply for government sector jobs like
~>Indian Engineering Services,Combined Defence Services & Civil Services examinations conducted by UPSC
## Assistant motor vehicle inspector and Regional Transport Officer (RTO) posts
~>Jobs in banking industry like Clerk,PO and Specialist Officer posts

** ALL THE BEST **

Mechanical engineers have the option to join as Section Engineer in railways. They can join to engineering services departments under government of India by qualifying ESE exam. PSU like NTPC, Power Grid, and IOCL offers trainee- level jobs for mechanical engineering graduates. In banks they can join to Officer Profiles. Transport departments and defense also offer adequate career openings.

A mechanical engineer in the manufacturing industry serves many purposes. He will be
asked to develop and launch products for a company. He or she may also be asked to
develop or maintain equipment and machinery used by said company to increase
manufacturing proficiency. Mechanical engineers in the manufacturing industry work
closely with computer-aided engineering (CAE).
