See friend, you are not eligible with your ECE degree... if your stream was electrical, mechanical or technology, then you can apply for direct entry to the posts of Engine Cadet/ Fifth Engineer/ Junior Engineer. you can apply with your 12th degree(PCM), but for the post of Deck cadet. Direct entry Deck Cadets are required to undergo basic pre-sea training arranged by the recruiting company itself. to apply with your Engineering degree, you should do Marine Engineering..... the direct entry Engineering cadets are preferred to do a Pre-sea course of 9 months duration in Marine Engineering conducted by the MERI. |

Sorry you are not eligible for Merchant Navy Job.In order to get a job,you have to complete your B.Tech and then only you can go for it.I'm providing some information about the eligibility criteria for Merchant Navy Job. Eligibility for Merchant Navy Officers:: 3 year degree course in Nautical Science for (10+2) students. 4 year degree course in Marine Engineering for (10+2) students. 2 year course for Diploma Holders. |

Qualification for which is B.Tech (ECE) with at least 60% aggregate. you can join any institute to study it. you can join as a Radio Officer . for that you have to do two to three week GMDSS course. |
