 Educatinal qualification: You must have passed In The First or Second Division, The Intermediate or an equivalent Examination of A recognized University or Board With Mathematics And At least one of The Subjects Physics and Chemistry As Subjects of the Examination. OR Graduates with mathematics and At least one of The subjects Physics and Chemistry As Their Degree Subjects May Also Apply For UPSC SCRA Examination. Age Eligiblity Criteria :- You must have attained the age of minimum 17 years and must not have attained the age of 21 years. Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC Candidates. S.C.R.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C one in a year. SCRA Exam, 2012 Date of notification:-22.10.2011 Last date for Receipt of form:-21.11.2011(MONDAY) Date of exam:- 29.01.2012(SUNDAY) Last date of receipt of form is over. So you can't appear in 2012. If you want you can appear in 2013. So start your preparation from now onward. ALL THE BEST! |

Re: When will be the Entrance Exam for SCRA in the upcoming year? SCRA stands for Special Class Railway Apprentices Exam. This Exam is being conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) every year. Every year, the number of positions for which this exam is being conducted are very low and the number of candidates who attempt this exam are very high. This Exam is being conducted by UPSC to recruit the candidates to Mechanical department of Indian Railways. Here is the eligibility criteria that a candidate should possess to be eligible for SCRA Exam. Academic Qualification : -One should have completed 12th class with Mathematics and Physics or Chemsitry as the compulsory subjects from a recognized board in first division or second division. Age criteria : -One should be in the age group of 17-21 years by the 1st August of the year in which the Exam is going to be conducted. Here I am providing you the important dates of upcoming SCRA Exam. Date of announcement of notification : 22-10-2011 Last date for the receipt of completed application forms : 21-11-2011 Date of SCRA Exam : 29-01-2012. The last date to apply for this Exam was already over. If you have already applied for the exam, then I suggest you to have good preparation to the SCRA Exam and crack the Exam.
