For getting good job in any field including electronics and communication the candidate must secure at least 60% in the Qualifying exam. Some of the best companies in this sector even require that thecandidate must hace secured at least 60% marks throughout their academic careeri.e.10th, 12th,& graduation or post graduation. |

Percentage matters only at the time of entrance like you are allowed to write any company's written test if and only if you fulfill it's criteria, and that will include your percentage, skills, knowledge. Generally core-technical companies minimum percentage criteria is 60%. Having vast knowledge and less marks won't do. please maintain your percentage also. |

Because to showcase all your skills and talents, a platform should be required. And that platform is being provided by good percentage. As we know many of the companies, they put minimum eligibility as 55% or 60%, So unless you are having that required percentage, you will not be given any opportunity to showcase your talents and there by to earn a good job. So try to earn good percentage. All the best |

Re: To what extent percentage matters in getting a job in ECE sector? hello dear percentage matters a lot in getting job but at the cut of level if you are eligible to sit for any exam than it is ok . percentage creates problem in eligibility criteria mainly and in case if you have tie up with another aspirant than also percentage are considered . In case if you have qualified any exam and want admission in any institution than also percentage matters a lot so percentage plays a great role in our life . good luck |

But don't loose heart if you scored lessthan 60% marks because there are some companies which accept lessthan 60% (mostly 50 to 55%) marks 9in the qualifying exam. |

Re: To what extent percentage matters in getting a job in ECE sector? 1)For Entering only you need the percentage, for Eg they will call for as those who have more 65% can attend the Exam for Selecting Interview *Moat Important is your knowledge in Technical ,work hard in that, for core you need more then 70% Best of luck |
