Re: How to prepare for IPS exam? I am a student of M.Com If you want to appear in the IPS exams than you have to give the UPSC Civil services Exams. This exams is held in 3 stages: Prelims Mains interviews in the prelims there are two objective type papers which is common for all the candidates Tips for Preparations: Clear your basic concepts by reading NCERT Books from the school level. Follow the syllabus of the UPSC CSE and prepare topics accordingly. Read atleast 2 good newspapers daily like The Hindu,Economic Times,etc. Read good magazines like the CSR,Pratiyogita Darpan,Marnorama Year Book,etc. Read the Interviews & experiences of previous toppers of CSE and try to follow tips given by them. Solve previous year question papers and model test Papers |

Preparation for IPS :- 1] You have to study the NCERT books of class 6th to class 12th . 2] Read the newspapers as most probably in English. 3] Sleep at least 6 hours in a day. 4] Take a proper and balanced diet. 5] Don't take tension about your study. 6] Keep practising of previous sample papers. 7] Learn the formulas that has been used. 8] Develop your presentation skill. 9] Also read magazines.
