I thought most EEE courses cover C and C++. I had a C language course and have

written a lot of programs in C despite being a chemical engineer. We are also well

versed with Matlab and AutoCAD. So I am slightly surprised that a EEE course does not

include those languages. But I would suggest that you stay in your core field of

designing circuits and instruments instead of getting lured into the IT field. C is a good

language to learn but Java will be useful to you because it is platform independent and

is found a lot in electronic devices....

EEE - Electronics and Electrical Engineering.

This course is basically a combination of 2 streams as the name suggests. This is a new course as earlier Electronics and Electrical were two different separate streams but now keeping in mind the importance and the deep relations in between both the streams and their respective subjects, this new course has been launched.

You can apply in various EEE companies like Reliance Power, BSES, and other private companies.

But for the EEE students the best available option is of the Government sector PSU's.

PSU - Public Sector Undertaking Companies

Some of them are : NTPC, NHPC, BHEL, BEL, ONGC, PGCIL, etc..

For that you need to sit for the GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) which is organized by the IIT's for the PSU recruitment's and also for the M.Tech admissions.

Thus you would get salary packages ranging from 3.2 - 10 lacs in the private companies and high ones in the PSU's as well.

Hope this helps

All the best

Engineering from EEE subject is very good. Electrical engineers are very demanded in the market. almost all electrical engineer get job in the company.

Campus placement is best chance for any engineering student. if your college provide campus placement then you have golden chance for job in the company. for placement in the company you have to prepare yourself very well.you have not to take any company paper lightly you have to prepare yourself very well whether it is any company paper.

If you can't get job or your college doesn't provide campus placement then other option are also available. there are various companies which post their recruitments in the newspaper or websites. internet will help you very much in finding jobs.

You have to register on job oriented websites like-
www.shine.com
www.naukri.com
www.monster.com

and other so many websites which provide information about recruitments of the companies you have to apply in the companies or contact directly with the HR of the company.

Another option is increase your friend circle and contact each friend.friend help you in finding job. but more important is that you have to prepare for written test and interview. without preparation of written test and interview it is very difficult to get job in the company.

Try all these ways you will definatly get job in the company.
