Re: Details of NTPC exam for Engineers? friend the ntpc which is now a maharatna company, conducts exam in the month of apr/may every yr to select candidates for the post of probationary engineers. the cut-off % to appear for the exam is 65% without any backlog. also students in their final yr may also apply. also the exam this yr consists of 75 technical and 45 aptitude questions. |

Re: Details of NTPC exam for Engineers? hii Details of NTPC exam for Engineers this year NTPC is looking for more than 500 graduate engineer for the post of executive trainees.. the requirements for different areas are electrical:145 mechanical:175 civil:60 control and instrumentation:40 finance:100 qualification:bachelors degree in engineering, finance:graduate with ca/icwa final year students can also apply the written test is on 17/4/2011 after the selection in written test there will be gd and personal interview AGE LIMIT: engineering:27 years as of 1/1/2011 finance:29 years pay scale:29000-50000 application fee:500 last date to apply :7/3/2011 the website for applying is WWW.NTPCCAREERS.NET Age Eligibility For EET: Max. 27 years as on 01/01/2010 i.e. examinees born before 01/01/82 is not qualified. This age limit is relaxed by 2 years for the examinees with Post graduation degree. For ET-HR & ET-Fin: Max. 29 years as on 01/01/2010 i.e. examinees born before 01/01/80 is not qualified.
