Is it possible to do M.Tech in AE after passing B.Tech in Electronics and communication engineering  Aeronautical / Aerospace Engineering is considered one of the most difficult fields of engineering however they compensate with immerse growth potential. This field specialise in designing, testing and developing both military as well as commerical aircrafts. Eligibility: In order to puruse Post Graduate degree in Aerospace Engineering. You are required to meet the education criteria. You need to pass B.Tech degree in Aeronautical / Aerospace with 60 percent marks. Students from other streams of B.Tech which are mentioned below can also apply. Mechanical Civil Electrical Electronics Instrumentation allied branches Unfortunately in your case you have completed B.Tech degree in Electronics and communication which does not qualify for the M.Tech in Aerospace. Only B.Tech students from the streams mentiond above may apply for the M.Tech in Aerospace. However they too are required to secure at least 60 percent marks in the graduation degree. After which you will have to appear in entrance exams for the M.Tech course. These courses are GATE PGCET If you passed any of the entrance exam with good marks then your performance in entrance exam along with marks secured in B.Tech would factor when applying for the M.Tech course in some of the leading colleges in India. Some of these top colleges include: DELHI COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING NIT WARANGAL IIT DELHI IIT KANPUR IIT MUMBAI IIT CHENNAI I would suggest you not to feel disappointed because you have completed B.Tech in ECE which is a very productive stream. You will have plenty of job opportunities ranging from Public Sector Undertaking to IIT, Telecom and Electronics Companies. You should go for M.Tech in ECE and have a great life afterwards. |
