Re: Can a Renal Transplanted Student be eligible for IAS?

ALL the answers here are wrong.ppl are just guessing. i have cleared this years engineering services examination and i am a kidney transplanted colour blind sufferer. they(Indian railways) have declared me unfit for all job. so dont waste your time....first get some other decent job ..then ..if u wish to try for IAS, ETC try.

i don'think there is any restriction to a renal transplanted student for appearing for the ias exam.He is as eligible as any other student.

Re: Can a Renal Transplanted Student be eligible for IAS?

Dear Friend

If you are doing very good after the operation then you can surely work as an
IAS officer.

The medical/physical fitness criteria for IAS is relaxed as compared to the criteria for IPS.

So, you might not be eligible for IPS. But, if you have recovered your health very well
after the transplant you are surely eligible for IAS.
