Re: Which is the best course between MS or M.Tech? What is the difference between those two M.Tech and M.S is almost similar with just a difference in the name of the degree, one is technology and the other is science. For doing M.Tech you need to qualify GATE exam, and to do MS, you need to qualify GRE(Graduate record examinations) and if you wish to do MS in USA then you need to appear another exam along with GRE called "TOEFL". |

Re: Which is the best course between MS or M.Tech? What is the difference between those two Quote:
M.tech and M.S are almost same just a slight difference. M.tech is masters in technology and its a technical masters degree. MS is also a masters degree but its a masters in science. MS in not completely technical, it has some subjects that are related to management courses. You can study M.tech in India and to take admission in this course you need to qualify GATE exam. You can do MS in abroad also after qualifying GRE which enables you to take admission in foreign university. If you want to get settled in abroad and work there then MS is best for you.But if you have plan to settle in India then M.tech will be best as here M.tech is given more importance over MS students. Also M.tech provides in depth technical knowledge if you want to make a career in technical field. It will also enable you to go in research and education sector. All the best! |
