Re: Is diploma treated as degree? I have completed 3 year diploma in printing technology Hi Right after passing Class 10th, you cannot as such join any graduation college. As the minimum requirement to join college is a 12th pass from a recognized school. But still the course which can do is Diploma. Diploma is a full time 3 year course which is a technical hand. Some of the top courses are : Electronics and Communication, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science, IT, etc...also some non technical streams like Stitching, Web designing, Mobile repairs, etc... You can easily take up this course right after passing class 10th from your school but make sure that you pass your class 10th in all the subjects. Re: Is diploma treated as degree? I have completed 3 year diploma in printing technology If you complete a diploma of 3 years after class 12 from a recognized institution approved by UGC- University Grants Commission, DEC- Distance Education Council, and AICTE- All India Council for Technical Education (as approval required by the institution in which you are seeking admission) then the diploma is equivalent to a graduate degree. In your case as you have not passed class 12 so it will not be considered as equivalent to a bachelors degree so you wont be allowed to appear for the entrance exams like CAT,MAT,GMAT,OPENMAT for admission to MBA programme. |
