Eligibility for B.Tech after diploma: Students who have completed first year in B.Tech from a recognised university or passed three years diploma after 10+2 with minimum aggregate of 60% marks in science and maths field. Those who are appearing for the final year diploma examination are also eligible to apply for direct second year engineering admission, subject to the condition that they shall produce the provisional certificate at the time of admission. Re: Top 10 engineering colleges for lateral entry admissions after Diploma Respected sir, My name is S.S.Nizamudeen,and i am doing my final year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering in Sri Venkatachalapathy Polytechnic college. And my aim is to do my engineering in IIT or NIT.And also i know that there is no lateral entry in IIT or NIT.And moreover diploma students are knowledge base students.And IIT and NIT colleges are only for knowledge students. Then why you peoples are not giving seats in IIT or NIT to diploma students? So,please take action about my query.This is my humble request. |
