Re: Career scope after completion of M.Sc in Medical Biotechnology? Biotechnology is not developed upto the mark in India. The candidates who have completed Post Graduation in Biotechnology are still struggling to get the job opportunities in India because of this reason. But in other countries, there are good number of job opportunities for Medical Biotechnology than in India. In India, if you want to get job by completing Medical Biotechnology, any of the 2 things should be required. First either you should have good reference from a working employee in the organization. And the other will be you should have good subject knowledge and you have to crack the Interview. You can find job opportunities in various -Chemical Companies -Biotech Companies -Pharmaceutical Companies -Hospitals -Clinical Centers -Research Laboratories etc. Update your profile in job portals and update it regularly. Then you will be informed regarding the job opportunities through mails and telephonic calls. Crack the selection procedure and get job opportunity. Wish you all the best. |

Re: Career scope after completion of M.Sc in Medical Biotechnology? There are quite a few options available in the field of Biotechnology. You have the option to go for teaching field. For this you will need to clear the NET exam. If you are more interested in the research field then you must appear for the CSIR or JRF exam. Incase you would like to become a scientist you can choose from the various areas like being a medical scientist or a biological scientist. By being a medical scientist you should be conducting study on various viruses and bacterias. Biological scientists focus more on plants, animals and living organisms. There are also other option like becoming a prosthesis which deals with formation artificial body parts. Pathology is also another option available to these candidates. Candidates of this profile are also required in the forensic laboratories. You should choose the area which interests you and select the course from which you can benefit. |
