Re: Can I get admission in B.E Civil 2nd year through lateral entry after completing diploma in CSE from Polytechnic College? hi..you sure can get the civil engineering branch but you ave to write the common entrance test for the polytechnic engineers for doing engagingly for the civil engineering branch instead of the computer science branch and only then can you get the civil engineering seat, the various topics which you should cover to get the seat in the civil engineering branch are as follows : 1. strength of materials 2.structural analysis 3.highway engineering 4.surveying 5.fluid mechanics 6.geotechnical engineering 7. material science 8.steel structures 9. environmental engineering 10.water resource engineering you have to really work hard because all the above subjects are easy and you have to have an really good knowledge of the subject to get an good rank in the combined admission test |
