JMI entrance exam is conducted by Jamia Millia Islamia University for the selection of candidates for the admission in various courses related to Engineering field. Mostly JMI entrance exam is conducted in the month of April and may. JMI offers B.Tech course in the following streams:- • Civil Engineering • Mechanical Engineering • Electrical Engineering • Electronics and Communication Engineering • Computer Science Engineering Eligibility Criteria:- 1)- You should have completed 12th class from a recognized board. 2)- You should have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 12th as compulsory subjects. 3)- You should have minimum 45% marks in 12th. 4)- Your age should not be less than 17 years. 5)- Your age should not be more than 23 years. Exam Pattern:- There are total 17 questions asked in this exam. All questions are objective type. There are 55 questions from Physics. There are 55 questions from Chemistry. There are 60 questions from Mathematics. Books to be referred:- As all the questions asked in this exam will be of 12th standard. So, you should prepare whole of your syllabus of 11th and 12th class. You should refer NCERT books for each subject Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. You can also refer R.D. Sharma for Mathematics and Arihant books. For Physics subject the best book is H.V. Verma. You should thoroughly read both parts of H.C. Verma. |
