For admission to any of the Integrated First Degree Programmes of BITS the candidate should have passed the 12th class examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Further, the candidate should have obtained a minimum of 80% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects in 12th class examination, at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects and adequate proficiency in English. As you dont have 80% marks in YOUR BOARDS EXAM you are not eligible to write BITSAT. |

No you are not eligible for BITSAT. This is a very awkward to judge a student's capabiltiies through 12th marks, but you can apply for IIT and AIEEE. There is no such criteria for these exams. All the Best... |

I am very sorry dear friend but as you told that you have scored an aggregate of 68% in class 12 but the minimum percentage required is 80%... so i hope you understand that you are not eligible for BITSAT online exams... but you can appear for other exams as AIEEE.... best of luck.... |

plz answer if i dont get 80% this year in PCM this means i wont get admission in BITS bt if i give improvement xam of pcm so that i score 80% in PCM and suppose i get it so am i eligible for bitsat 2011?????? |

BITSAT 2010... because eligibality is you have 80% marks in PCM group ,, and 60% in each P C M group ... and also ypur board have english as a subject then you are eligible .... good luck ,, try for some other engineering exams...... |

Eligibility Criteria for BITSAT: To be eligible to appear in BITSAT a candidates needs to pass 12th with atleast 80% marks in aggregate in PCM. Also a candidate should score a minimum of 60% marks in each of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Only those candidates who have passed 12th in 2009 or are appearing in 2010 are eligible to appear for BITSAT. sorry u r not eligible |

Sorry dear you are not eligible for it,the eligibility criteria says- candidate must have scored atleast 80% aggregate in there class 12 and 60% in PCM. So,you are not eligible for it. But dont worry there are many entrance's for which you can appear like-IIT-JEE,ISAT(newly introduced),AIEEE etc. Best of luck

Re: Am I eligible for Bitsat if I don't have 80% marks in boards? @ shweta no dear you are not eligible for applying to BITS this year you can apply for it next year after scoreing the required percentage. @ yelumalai sorry dear date for applying to AIEEE 2010 is over,the last date for availability of form was 30.12.2009 and recipt of form was 12.01.2010.
