Aeronautical Engineering deals in flying objects that remains within the atmosphere of the Earth. It includes civil aircrafts, helicopters, fighter jets, UAV etc. After completing the 12th in science stream you becomes eligible for the Aeronautical Engineering course.

For admission in B.Tech you will have to first appear for a entrance exam. There are plenty of options:

ISEET

UPSEE

BITSAT

Guj-CET

Now it is important to remember that from 2013 onwards, IIT-JEE and AIEEE will not be taking place. Which is why I choose not to mention them. Both these entrance exams have been replaced by the ISEET entrance exam.

For admission in National Institute of Technology (NIT) and the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), you will have to appear for the ISEET entrance exam. The government of India plans to replace ISEET with all existing entrance exams for Engineering both on national and state level.

Maharashtra has already scrapped its engineering entrance exam called MAH-CET and accepted the ISEET entrance exam.

Eligibility

1. You will first have to complete 12th standard from recognized board.

2. Must have subjects like Physics, Maths and Chemistry in 12th.

3. At least 40 percent marks in 12th to appear for ISEET.
